Voice4Girls

VOICE is a social enterprise that enables marginalized adolescent girls in India to re-imagine their identities, capabilities and futures. They conduct activity-based camps where girls acquire critical knowledge, spoken English and life skills while they grow in confidence and self-efficacy.

Trained college students who act as mentors and role models to campers — students in government and low-cost private schools, run VOICE camps. Their goal is to reach enough girls in India to impact national level indicators — increased retention in school, reduced child marriage and overall better health. The VOICE model is unique in its content and methods of implementation.
